Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2022: The Education Minister of Karnataka state informed about the declaration date of Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2022 through a tweet today, on May 20. Taking to Twitter, Education Minister BC Nagesh wrote, ‘The PUC exams have been conducted successfully across the Karnataka state. The evaluation process will begin in the upcoming week and the results will be announced in the third week of June 2022’.
Once declared, the intermediate students will be able to check their respective scores on the official website of Karnataka Board at karresults.nic.in.
About Karnataka PUC Exam 2022:
The Karnataka Pre-university Course (PUC) exams 2022 for Class 12 students were conducted from April 22 till May 18, 2022 across the state. The exams took place in the pen-paper mode and were held in the morning session which commenced at 10:15 am. 5,241 exam centers were set up across the state for the conduct of the exam. Strict adherence to Covid-appropriate behaviour was ensured during the course of the exams. Guidelines were issued to students to carry their own face masks, hand sanitizer bottles and follow the social distancing norms.
It is noteworthy that the exams had to be cancelled in June 2021 in light of the upticking Covid-19 cases in the state.
Karnataka PUC Exam 2022: Statistics
Over 7 lakh students had appeared in the Karnataka PUC Exam 2022. This included 6,00,519 regular students, 21,928 private students, 2,212 physically challenged students and 61,808 such students who are attempting the exam again. Most of the students who had appeared in the Karnataka PUC Exam 2022 were from Bangalore (South).
Notably, the Department of Pre-university Education, Karnataka had declared the results for first year students on April 30 and the SSLC results 2022 on May 19. The Karnataka 2nd PUC Results were announced on July 14 last year, in which 2,239 students had secured full marks (600/600).
Karnataka PUC Results 2022: Steps to check
After the results are declared, the Class 12 students must abide by the following steps to check their results.
1. Visit the official website of Karnataka Board at karresults.nic.in.
2. Click on the link that reads ‘Karnataka 2nd PUC Results 2022’, which will be activated after declaration.
3. You will end on a new login page. Key in your registration number and other login credentials.
4. The results will appear on the screen. Check the scores obtained carefully and download the scorecard on your device.
5. Print its copy for future references.
